TRACTOR & VINE is the premier wine of Red Hills Market. This Dundee Hills, single-vineyard wine showcases the beauty of Oregon, small-production, Pinot Noir.  Juicy red fruits, silky tannins and a solid integrated structure are a few of the 2013 vintage highlights.  Tractor & Vine fruit comes Jody & Michelle’s small two acre jory soil vineyard known as Kropf Family Vineyard. The nose has a provocative nature that draws you back in for more of the lovely scents of black tea, pie cherries and figs.  Once the wine is resting nicely on your palate, you will enjoy the complex and integrated flavors of roasted figs, Oregon black truffle, dark fruits, a hint of dry herbs, and freshly plowed dirt.  The tannins are soft and sexy, with a nice structure that allows for a long, lovely finish.   This wine was produced by two well aged friends and neighbors;  Jesse Lange and Jody Kropf.  I would invite you to gather with family and friends, enjoying this wine with grilled salmon or lamb and fig skewers.  This wine also pairs well with roasted hazelnuts and sleeping beauty cheese, from Cascade Creamery.
